1. Definitions

• "Service" — the AI-assisted drafting services offered by Rentak Works, including the Social Post Drafting Desk, Product Listing Helper and Review Session
• "User" / "You" — the individual or business entity that engages our services or uses our website
• "We" / "Us" / "Our" — Rentak Works
• "Client Material" — posts, product descriptions, notes and other content you provide for service delivery
• "Deliverables" — drafts, session notes and documentation produced by us during the service engagement
• "Agreement" — these terms together with any service scope document agreed in writing

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry, engaging our services or using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms.

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use our services.

If you are engaging on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these terms.

3. Service Description

Rentak Works provides AI-assisted content drafting support for small businesses. Services are offered within Malaysia and remotely to clients who cannot attend sessions in person.

The three current services are described in full on our Solutions page. Each service has a defined scope, timeline and price stated before you engage.

We reserve the right to decline an engagement if, in our assessment, the available Client Material is insufficient to produce useful deliverables.

4. Your Responsibilities

• Provide accurate Client Material — posts, product details, descriptions — in a timely manner
• Review deliverables before publishing or using them; we are not responsible for content you publish without review
• Ensure that any Client Material you share does not infringe third-party intellectual property or violate applicable law
• Not use our services for the production of misleading, defamatory or unlawful content
• Not attempt to use deliverables in ways that violate platform terms of service (Shopee, Lazada, etc.)

5. Intellectual Property

Client Material you provide remains your property. Deliverables produced from your Client Material are transferred to you upon payment.

Source documents and session notes produced during the engagement are yours to retain. We do not retain proprietary rights over content built from your material.

Our website content, methodology and working processes remain the intellectual property of Rentak Works.

6. Payment Terms

• All prices are quoted in Ringgit Malaysia (RM) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
• Payment is due upon invoice, issued before or at the commencement of each service
• Accepted payment methods: bank transfer (local) and payment platforms as specified at time of engagement
• Refunds: If we are unable to complete the agreed scope due to our own failure, a partial or full refund proportionate to work not completed will be issued. Refunds are not available where the engagement could not proceed due to insufficient Client Material provided by you after engagement commenced
• Scope changes requested after work has commenced may result in revised pricing, agreed in writing before additional work begins

7. Service-Specific Terms

7.1 Social Post Drafting Desk

• Scope includes setup period (2–3 weeks) and one month of collaborative review
• The service changes the effort involved in producing captions; it does not change post reach or engagement metrics
• Handover documentation is provided at end of engagement

7.2 Product Listing Helper

• Scope covers up to 200 existing products and one round of format adjustment
• You are responsible for approving each listing before publishing
• We are not liable for listings published without approval that contain errors
• Products added after engagement commences may require a separate engagement

7.3 Review Session

• Sessions are conducted quarterly at mutually agreed times
• Written session notes are delivered within 48 hours of the session
• Recommendations in session notes are advisory; implementation decisions rest with you

8. Disclaimers

Services are provided in good faith based on the Client Material you supply. We make no representations about specific commercial outcomes such as sales figures, follower counts or engagement rates.

Deliverables are drafts for your review. You are responsible for verifying accuracy before use, particularly for product specifications, measurements and care instructions.

AI-assisted drafting is a tool that reduces blank-page time; it is not a substitute for your own judgement about your business, your customers or your content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Rentak Works' total liability arising from or related to any service engagement shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that specific engagement.

We are not liable for: indirect, consequential or incidental losses; loss of revenue, profit or business arising from use of our deliverables; or platform-specific penalties arising from listings or posts published by you.

10. Confidentiality

We treat Client Material as confidential. We will not share your business content, posts or product information with third parties except as required for service delivery (e.g., cloud storage providers under data processing agreements).

We will not use your Client Material to train shared AI models or produce content for other clients.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement with 7 days' written notice. Upon termination, all deliverables produced to that point and all Client Material are returned or deleted as per your instructions within 14 days.

Where we terminate an engagement for breach of these terms by you, no refund applies to work already completed.

12. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or our services shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties.

If informal resolution is not reached within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to the courts of Selangor, Malaysia, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

For consumer disputes, you may also contact the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia (Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna Malaysia).

13. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These terms, together with any written service scope document, constitute the entire agreement between the parties
• Severability: If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these terms without our written consent
• Notices: Formal notices should be sent to [email protected] or the address below

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised date. Significant changes will be communicated to active clients by email.

Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
