A Drafting Desk Built on Honesty About What AI Can and Cannot Do
Rentak Works started because small business owners kept asking us why their AI-generated posts sounded like someone else's shop.
Back to HomeHow Rentak Works Came to Be
The name comes from rentak — the rhythmic pulse that holds a piece of music together. It is not the loudest part. It is what makes everything else land in the right place.
We started in Shah Alam in early 2023, when a friend who runs a craft supplies shop asked us to look at her AI-drafted captions. They were fluent, polished and completely unlike how she talks to customers. Every post sounded like it came from a different business.
That gap — between what the tool produces and what the business actually sounds like — is the problem we focus on. Not making AI write better in general. Making it write more like you, specifically, and then checking that it has before it reaches your screen.
We work with three services because that is the number we can do well with the team we have. Social post drafting, product listing copy, and quarterly review sessions. All three are priced to fit what a small Malaysian shop can reasonably spend on a tool that handles one part of the content workload.
Our working method is straightforward: we gather your source material — past posts, product details, seasonal notes — and build a drafting setup from that rather than from a blank prompt. The AI produces a draft. A person reads it. You receive something that has been checked, not raw output.
We are candid in each service description about what changes and what does not. The drafting desk changes the time you spend on a blank page; it does not change how many people see your posts. The listing helper carries your specifications consistently across channels; it does not write descriptions that sell products you would not otherwise sell.
That candour is the most useful thing we can offer. Small businesses in Malaysia are being pitched AI tools constantly, many of them with claims that do not hold up. We would rather tell you something does not fit your situation than sell you a subscription you end up switching off six months later — which is also why the Review Session exists.

How We Keep Quality Consistent
Human Review on Every Draft
No draft leaves without a person reading it. We check for tone, accuracy and consistency with your source material each time.
Session Notes Documented
Every Review Session produces written notes covering what was checked, what changed and any subscriptions we recommend closing down.
Client Data Not Shared
Your posts, product details and business information are used to build your drafting setup only. They are not shared with other clients or used to train shared models.
Scope Defined Upfront
Each service has a written scope — number of products, review period, round of adjustments — so billing does not expand without a conversation first.
Plain Language Throughout
We do not use technical jargon in client communications. When something is not working, we say what is not working and what the options are.
Timelines We Stand By
We publish setup timelines in our service descriptions and do not change them unless your scope changes. If something takes longer, we tell you before it becomes a problem.
AI Integration That Fits How Small Business Actually Works
Small businesses in Malaysia face a specific content pressure: they are expected to post regularly on multiple channels, write accurate listings for each marketplace separately, and keep up with seasonal promotions — while also running the shop. AI drafting tools are useful for exactly this situation, but only when they are set up to work from the business's own material rather than from generic inputs.
Rentak Works focuses on that setup work. The three services we offer — Social Post Drafting Desk, Product Listing Helper and Review Session — each address a different part of that content load. Together they are designed so a shop owner spends less time on blank-page writing and more time on the decisions that actually belong to them: what to sell, how to serve customers, when to run a promotion.
We are based in Shah Alam and work with shops across the Klang Valley and beyond. Sessions are conducted remotely. Pricing is in Ringgit Malaysia and is sized to match what a small business operation can realistically budget for a content support tool. The quarterly Review Session exists specifically so that if a service is no longer worth its cost, we catch that before you do and say so.
The work we do does not replace the relationship between a shop owner and their customers. It shortens the distance between having something to say and getting it written down in a form that can be sent or posted.
