Siti Rahimah

Handmade Batik, Klang

Used the Social Post Desk for about two months now. The first few weeks were a lot of back-and-forth — I had to explain quite specifically which captions sounded right and which didn't. But by the third week the drafts were landing closer. I still edit every one, but I am editing rather than starting from scratch, which is the difference.

The Product Listing Helper saved us a real amount of time. We had about 160 products and we were rewriting each one four times for different channels. The drafts were not perfect — some of the technical specs for our tents came out slightly wrong and needed correction — but the format consistency was exactly what we needed. Would use again for the next catalogue update.

I booked the Review Session after running AI-generated captions for about six months from a different tool. Haziq looked through everything and pointed out that three of my best-performing post types from early on had completely disappeared from the drafts. We updated the source material and the next batch was noticeably better. I hadn't noticed the drift myself — that's the point of an outside read.

What I appreciated most was that they were upfront about what the Social Post Desk can and can't do. They told me clearly that the drafts would save me writing time but wouldn't change how many people see my posts. That's true — it hasn't changed my reach. But I am posting more consistently now because I'm not spending an hour on each caption. That part works.

We sell on Shopee, Lazada and our own website. Before the Listing Helper, we had a small team rewriting descriptions for each platform every time we updated a product. Now we update once and the drafts go to each channel format. There were format issues with a few Lazada fields in the first batch — those were fixed in the adjustment round. It's a good process overall.

The quarterly Review Session flagged something I hadn't considered: one of the AI tools I was subscribed to had gradually become redundant because the Social Post Desk was covering the same content type. They recommended cancelling it. I was paying RM 80 a month for it. That recommendation alone was worth more than the review fee. I'll book another session next quarter.

Case Studies

Case Study 01 · Social Post Drafting Desk

Handmade Ceramics Shop, Chow Kit

Challenge

The owner posted sporadically — sometimes three times in a week, then nothing for three weeks. Each caption took 30–45 minutes to write. She knew what she wanted to say but found starting difficult. She had tried a generic AI tool and felt the output didn't sound like her work at all.

Solution

We built a source document from 40 of her past captions and her product descriptions. The first drafts were reviewed together over three weeks. By the fourth week, she was approving around 70% of drafts with light edits. The remaining 30% needed more revision — mostly captions about her process rather than finished products.

Result

Posting cadence moved from roughly 4 posts per month to 10–12. Caption writing time reduced from 30–45 minutes to around 10 minutes of editing per post. Reach did not change significantly. She now runs the setup herself using the source document we handed over.

"I didn't expect the first month to involve so much back-and-forth, but I understand now why it needed to. The drafts are more useful than I thought they could be." — Workshop owner, Chow Kit

Case Study 02 · Product Listing Helper

Children's Clothing Brand, Shah Alam

Challenge

The brand sold 180 SKUs across Shopee, Lazada and their own Shopify site. Every listing was written separately by one team member, taking three to four days per channel update. Measurement information was inconsistent — sizing differed between Shopee and the own-site listings, creating customer queries.

Solution

We processed their 180 products using their master product spreadsheet as source material. Drafts were produced for all three channels simultaneously. The first batch revealed a format issue with Shopee's attribute fields for children's sizing — this was corrected in the adjustment round included in the service scope.

Result

Channel update time reduced from 3–4 days to roughly half a day for approvals. Sizing inconsistencies between channels were resolved. The team member who handled listings was redeployed to customer service work during the saved time. Customer sizing queries reduced by approximately 30% in the following month.

"The sizing consistency fix alone was worth the cost. We had been getting the same questions for months without realising the listings were the cause." — Brand manager, Shah Alam

Case Study 03 · Review Session

Plant Nursery & Online Store, Kajang

Challenge

The owner had been using three separate AI tools for nine months — one for captions, one for product descriptions and one for email newsletters. She felt the tools were working but wasn't sure the content still sounded like her. She also suspected one of the subscriptions wasn't being fully used.

Solution

The Review Session covered drafts produced over the previous quarter across all three tools. We noted significant voice drift in the newsletter tool — the source material had not been updated since setup and recent seasonal content was missing. We recommended closing the email tool and redirecting that budget to more frequent caption drafts.

Result

One subscription closed, saving RM 95 per month. Caption source material was updated for the new seasonal range. She now does two review sessions per year. The session documentation gave her a clear record of what changed and why, which she uses when onboarding new staff.

"They told me to cancel something I was paying for. I don't think any other provider would do that." — Nursery owner, Kajang
